people who were blind, hearing impaired or had a physical disability.

| Death of Pastor Christoffel in Isfahan, Iran, at the age of 78.

| CBMI began ophthalmic work in Afghanistan, and shortly
afterwards, in Iran.

| CBMI extended its ministry to the African continent with projects
in Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania.

| Expansion of CBMI's work to South America (Peru) and extension of
our ministry to people with physical and intellectual disabilities and also to

global initiative to eliminate preventable blindness: VISION 2020.
