Learning from evaluations of our projects: 2015 to 2017.
CBM Australia conducted a meta-evaluation of 26 evaluations of projects that finished between 2015 -17. This included 19 projects that received support from the Australian Government through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP). This paper highlights what we learned about design, monitoring, evaluation and learning (DME). The meta-evaluation highlighted some promising practice in design to maximise sustainability and in evaluation practice that can both demonstrate and facilitate change. Some areas to strengthen were also identified, particularly in articulation of indicators and in facilitating cross learning.
